OMG is the only way that I can describe this cake!
I was introduced to this recipe about 3 years ago when my husbands mum, Heather bought me a baking book. It’s fair to say that I don’t particularly have a sweet tooth but this recipe is divine!
I am proud to say that I can now make it with my eyes closed; well almost!
It’s the perfect after dinner dessert, rich, gooey and yummy!
PS…HAPPY ‘late’ MOTHERS DAY to all the mums!

As was already mentioned, I made this and it turned out fabulously! One little thing, however, is that you mention 200g sugar in the recipe, but it’s not in the ingredients list. Easy enough to work around, but I thought you might want to know. All in all, an amazingly delicious and rich chocolate cake!
Yup! I forgot! I was told by Nicola yesterday but with drying all my mushrooms from last weekends pick I just haven’t had time to change it.

I remember you made this for me at my baby shower. D.E.L.I.C.I.O.U.S.
Hey Jane!
Welcome!

Mia made this for a family birthday today. It was a great success. We substituted fig jam for the apricot jam. Delicious!
That cake looks divine! I’m not much of a dessert person (but put me in front of a potato and I’ll go to town!) but there’s something really wonderful and soothing about baking. I generally give all my baking efforts away to friends, but this cake looks like a keeper!
